They used to be referred to as the 737's but now that Boeing has partnered with GE, these luxury business jets are now referred to as Boeing Business Jets (BBJ). This particular aircraft targets the corporate jet market. The Boeing 737 BBJ can accommodate 25 to 50 persons very comfortably.

The airframe of the BBJ is really a 737 commercial airframe modified for the requirements of private jets. According to Wikipedia:

"The BBJ1 is based on a 737-700 airframe, with elements from the 737-800. The BBJ2 and BBJ3 are based on the 737-800 and 737-900ER series, respectively. All models include changes to the airframe regardless of the BBJ series."
